Taylor Swift called the ‘fakest’ celebrity fan by Knicks player

During a TikTok stream where the pair were playing NBA 2K, New York Knicks guards Tyler Kolek and Miles “Deuce” McBride were asked a question: who was the ‘fakest’ celebrity fan they encountered during the Knicks’ championship run? Kolek didn’t hesitate to name a major celebrity.

Kolek promptly named pop superstar Taylor Swift, who made headlines for her courtside appearance at Game 4 of the Knicks’ series against the San Antonio Spurs on June 10, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. Swift was spotted in a custom blue-and-orange T-shirt with the pun “Stevie Knicks,” accompanied by her longtime friends Mariska Hargitay, Alana Haim, and Este Haim.

“I don’t know if I’ve seen her at any other games… It’s a little performative,” Kolek said during the live stream.

McBride, laughing, agreed with Kolek’s assessment but was quick to warn his teammate: “I would agree. The Swifties aren’t going to like that answer.”
