Pregame notes
Washington and Atlanta battle for leading the Southeast Division — The Wizards and the Hawks match up for an interesting home-and-away as they are both ranked 1 and 2 in the Southeast Division. The Wizards briefly held the helm at #1, but then lost to the Hawks at home last night. Let’s see how the second night turns out!
The Hawks are finding their identity — The Hawks have changed things dramatically. For instance, they traded their franchise guy, Trae Young, to the Wizards last season. But it’s starting to look as if Snyder is finding his rotation. The strong win in DC showed flashes of a coherent team playing team defense (kept the Wizards to 105, and had there not been some “garbage time” it would have been even lower).
Trae revenge game? — Wednesday wasn’t it. Maybe on Friday?
