All things considered, the Sixers’ injury report was not a lengthy one Friday night ahead of the team’s first back-to-back this season.

LeBron James was listed as questionable for Saturday’s game vs. the Bucks with an official designation of “low back/sciatica management.” The Sixers plan to be cognizant of the 41-year-old James’ load during the regular season with the playoffs in mind.

Dean Wade was also questionable with a left ankle sprain. Wade worked out on the Xfinity Mobile Arena floor Thursday prior to the 2-0 Sixers’ comeback win over the Cavaliers, but he ultimately did not make his regular-season Sixers debut. The 29-year-old forward injured his ankle a week ago in the team’s preseason finale.

Dominick Barlow (lower back stress reaction), Tacko Fall (left quadriceps strain) and Ariel Hukporti (right Achilles tendor tear) remained out.

As of Friday night, Joel Embiid was absent from the Sixers’ injury report. Speaking late Thursday evening, Embiid’s expectation was that he’d sit against either the Bucks or the Pistons on Sunday. He logged 34 minutes vs. Cleveland and posted 24 points on 8-for-16 shooting and seven rebounds.

“I’m not playing both games,” Embiid said. “I’m playing one of them. I don’t know. They’re going to tell me. But I feel good. Whatever they tell me, I’ll do it.

“I might not agree with it, I might fight it, but I might not win. I kind of give them the freedom to do whatever they want.”
