LOS ANGELES – Walker Kessler got a standing ovation from the Crypto.com Arena crowd as he subbed out with six minutes left to go in the Los Angeles Lakers’ season-opening 127-105 blowout win over the Golden State Warriors firmly in hand on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Kessler stole the show after wreaking havoc all night in the paint, scoring 26 points on a perfect 12-for-12 shooting performance – 10 of which were dunks, nearly all of which came via alley-oop – to go along with nine rebounds and two blocks in his Laker debut.
