INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana basketball’s Bryce Lindsay packed a scoring punch off the bench Sunday in a 76-58 win over North Carolina.
With starting point guard Markus Burton in early foul trouble — he checked out less than 70 seconds into the game — the Hoosiers counted on Lindsay for big minutes in the preseason exhibition at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Lindsay delivered with 26 points to help IU pull out a comfortable win over the Tar Heels. He had four 3-pointers and went 6 of 6 from the free-throw line.
“He had a hell of a night,” North Carolina coach Michael Malone said. “Marcus (Burton) went out early, and right away, he put his fingerprints all over the game.”
