Syracuse Reacts Results: Orange MBB fans don’t expect to dance in March

Despite getting over to a 2-0 start, most Syracuse Orange men’s basketball fans don’t expect to hear Syracuse’s name called in March.

This upcoming week will likely tell us more about Syracuse’s chances in the 26-27 season. The Orange face the Indiana Hoosiers in Indianaolis on Monday night, then head to MSG to face Rick Pitino and the St. John’s Red Storm next Sunday evening.

These two non-conference games won’t decide the season, but if Syracuse can get at least one win, you’d have to feel a bit better about Gerry McNamara’s squad and the potential to build an at-large resume.

FanDuel has the Orange at +12500 to win the ACC and +25000 to win a NCAA Title, but we’ll revisit this question during the season to see if the expectations of fans have changed.
