The team has led the Big Sky in scoring the last two seasons and ranked in the top 20 nationally in shooting percentage the last three seasons. The Bears are coming off a 20-12 showing a year ago but lost all five starters. Freshman guard Jeremiah Hammond had a team-high 17 points in the opener.
