The backup point guard is the lone Knicks player to appear on the injury report.

Alvarado logged 11 minutes in the team’s 107-103 loss against the Boston Celtics last time out and struggled on the court. He scored just two points to go along with two rebounds, two assists and a steal, but he turned the ball over three times and finished as a minus-10.

New York is still searching for its first win this season, having lost to the Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers in their first two games.
