Breaking down the 2026-27 Kentucky Basketball schedule

It’s October, the heart of college football season, but also the start of preseason college basketball, so now is a great time to take a closer look at the Kentucky Wildcats’ 2026-27 schedule.

The Wildcats’ schedule offers a little bit of everything: primetime neutral-site games, rivalries, a demanding SEC slate and a regular-season finale against the national title favorite.

One criticism is the lack of marquee non-conference games at Rupp Arena, with Louisville being the only preseason ranked opponent Big Blue Nation will see at home before SEC play. Of course, expectations are higher, and the Wildcats have the roster to surpass those projections.
