Brandin Podziemski has secured a fully guaranteed rookie-scale extension from the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, who reported Saturday that the 23-year-old guard has agreed to a five-year, $110 million deal with the organization.
The contract includes a mutual option in the fifth year (2031-32) and a trade kicker, per Charania. It also assures the 2023 No. 19 overall pick that he’s part of the Warriors’ long-term plans.

Podziemski, whom Golden State drafted out of Santa Clara, averaged a career-high 13.8 points last season. He also piled up 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 2025-26 while shooting 45.5% from the field and 37.1% from 3.
His durability came in handy. He was one of 18 NBA players who played all 82 games last go-around, per Charania, who also noted that Podziemski ranks top three in charges drawn throughout his young career.
