MADISON – Wisconsin men’s basketball’s Oct. 10 exhibition against UW-Parkside will finally give the Badgers a chance to compete against someone other than themselves.
“You get to a point – and maybe this team has even got to it quicker than normal – that you’re tired of seeing each other,” Wisconsin coach Greg Gard said at the Big Ten’s annual basketball media days. “We’ve locked horns pretty hard all summer because we had so many new guys that I needed to learn them and they needed to learn me. It will be good to get under the lights.”
