Iowa is coming off a 27-7 (15-3 Big Ten) campaign in 2025-26. The Hawkeyes advanced to the Big Ten Tournament championship game, hosted in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in five years, and recorded their 10th straight 20-plus-win season.

“It just isn’t like this anywhere else. I’m just so… I think the word is just grateful. Whether it’s me or not, that I get to sit there, I just think basketball fans and women’s sports fans, we can’t ever take that for granted, because that’s a special thing that’s happening for a women’s program.

“I think that’s the thing, one of them that I try to work so tirelessly is to continue making Iowa women’s basketball something that everybody can be proud of,” Iowa head women’s basketball coach Jan Jensen said of the sellout streak and Hawkeye fan support at Big Ten media days..

The Hawkeyes host Maryville in an exhibition on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. CT before opening the 2026-27 regular season against Towson on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. CT inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Both contests will be streamed on B1G+.
