Indiana Women’s Basketball Lands 5 Star Commit Azy Jackson

Indiana women’s basketball landed a landmark commitment as five star prospect Azy Jackson pledged her future to head coach Teri Moren and the Hoosiers. Ranked No. 20 nationally in the 2027 class by ESPN, the 6 foot 4 Jackson chose Bloomington over top programs including USC, Kansas, Cal, and North Carolina. Her decision instantly becomes the highest ranked commitment in the history of the Indiana women’s basketball program.

Jackson, who stars for Bonney Lake High School in Washington, represents a generational talent on the floor. During her junior campaign, Jackson averaged 14.6 points and 14.8 rebounds per game while displaying elite ball handling, elite rim protection, and transition playmaking. Despite recovering from a knee injury suffered over the summer that will sideline her for her senior high school season, Jackson plans to enroll early at Indiana during the spring semester to rehab with the team before making her full collegiate debut in the 2027-28 season.
