The former Duke staffer, Army veteran, and longtime ESPN college basketball analyst is most recognizable as the son-in-law of legendary former Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Longtime ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla reflected on losing his friend and colleague, writing on X, “It’s been an extremely difficult day since I heard about Chris Spatola this morning.
