Michigan State men’s basketball releases official 2026-27 schedule

We have an official complete schedule for the Spartans’ men’s basketball team.

While nearly all of the games have already been previously announced or reported, the official Michigan State men’s basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season was released on Tuesday. The schedule consists of three exhibition games, 12 non-conference matchups and 20 conference games.

The first exhibition game will come on October 2 against Incarnate Word from the Breslin Center. The first official game of the season will be against Quinnipiac on November 2, with the final regular season game coming against Wisconsin on March 6. The Big Ten Tournament will follow starting on March 9 and running through March 14. The NCAA Tournament would follow after that.

Some of the notable non-conference matchups this year includes neutral site games against Duke, Arkansas, Gonzaga and a true road game at Tennessee. The Spartans will play every Big Ten team once as always, with home-and-home conference games against Nebraska, Maryland and rival Michigan.
