Florida State basketball vs Tennessee start time, TV channel announced

Florida State men’s basketball is looking forward to the 2026-27 season after a promising first year under head coach Luke Louks. The Seminoles are about a month or so away from their first game of the season, but the start time and TV channel for one of their toughest games was revealed on Monday.

FSU announced on social media that their game against the Tennessee Volunteers in the SEC/ACC Challenge will start at 7 p.m. ET and air on ESPN. The two programs will play in the Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is FSU’s first trip to Knoxville since 1987.

Since 1957-58, the Seminoles are 4-5 against the Volunteers. The last time the two played, whether in the preseason or regular season, was in 2019, when FSU defeated Tennessee, 60-57.

Tennessee has made the NCAA tournament in 28 separate years, and in the last three years, they have exited in the Elite Eight, most recently losing to the eventual champion Michigan, 95-62.

Florida State will look to notch their first win in the SEC/ACC Challenge, as they are 0-3 in the event.
