Clemson now has the conference portion of its 2027 football schedule mapped out.
The Tigers will play eight ACC games that season, with Boston College, Florida State, Stanford and Wake Forest coming to Death Valley. Clemson will hit the road for games against Louisville, NC State, SMU and Virginia Tech.

The ACC released the opponents Wednesday, giving Clemson an early look at what will be a somewhat unusual conference schedule.
Clemson is the only ACC team set to play eight league games in 2027. The other 16 programs will play nine conference games as the league continues moving toward its expanded scheduling format.
That difference means Clemson will need at least two Power Four opponents outside the ACC. The conference requires every team to play at least 10 Power Four games during the season.
The eight-game setup will not permanently belong to Clemson, either. That designation is expected to rotate among ACC programs in future years.

As for the matchups themselves, Clemson will see plenty of familiar opponents. Florida State and Wake Forest will make trips to Clemson, while the Tigers will travel to NC State, Louisville and Virginia Tech.
There will also be two games against schools that joined the ACC during its latest round of expansion. Stanford will visit Death Valley, while Clemson will travel to Dallas to face SMU.
Dates and the order of Clemson’s ACC games have not yet been announced. The league will release the complete 2027 schedule at a later time.
