The schedule for the 2026-27 season for UConn men’s basketball is officially complete. On Monday, the Big East shared its conference schedule for the upcoming season. There are plenty of dates to circle this winter, including both highly anticipated games against St. John’s, a game on New Year’s Eve, and a pivotal road clash on Super Bowl Sunday.

The schedule features 20 games, with an even split of 10 home and away matchups. Of the 10 home games, five will be played at Gampel Pavilion and five at the PeoplesBank Arena. All tip-off times and home venue designations have yet to be revealed, but are expected in the coming weeks.
The Big East slate starts at home for the Huskies as they welcome Georgetown two days before Christmas on Dec. 23. The only other game in December is on New Year’s Eve on the road in Indianapolis against Butler. UConn plays Virginia at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Dec. 20, the weekend in which all of the other Big East teams open up conference play.
January is quite a busy month for the Huskies, playing nine games. The first game of 2027 comes on Jan. 3 in Omaha against Creighton before returning home on Jan. 6 against DePaul. On Jan. 9, UConn goes to its “House of Horrors” in Newark to take on Seton Hall looking to make it two-straight road wins against the Pirates.

The following week sees the Huskies host Marquette and Xavier before going back on the road for the local rivalry matchup against Providence. This is the start of a three road game in four game stretch that ends with a trip to Georgetown and the highly anticipated clash at MSG against St. John’s.
