Louisville basketball officially announces addition of L.J. Wells

Ittttt’s official.

From U of L:

University of Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey announced the addition of fifth-year LJ Wells to the 2026-27 roster.

“Northern Kentucky coach Darrin Horn and I are friends and I have an unbelievable amount of respect for him as a coach,” said Kelsey on the addition. “He gushes about LJ in terms of his character, work ethic, coachability and team first mentality. He also speaks glowingly of him as a player, especially his ability to process complex basketball concepts on both sides of the ball. He was arguably NKU’s best and most valuable player. We are excited to add someone like LJ that fits our culture perfectly. He’s one of us before he even arrives.”
