WNBA games on today, full TV schedule for Friday, August 28

The WNBA returns Friday with four games on the schedule, including a pair of 7:30 p.m. ET matchups before the night slate tips off at 10 p.m.

All eight playoff teams are now set after the Dallas Wings secured the final postseason berth Wednesday. The Minnesota Lynx remain atop the standings, while the Golden State Valkyries, Las Vegas Aces, Atlanta Dream and Indiana Fever are among the teams fighting for favorable positioning. The New York Liberty and Washington Mystics lround out the playoff field.

Indiana will look to continue its strong season against the Connecticut Sun, while Atlanta hosts Portland. The Aces will also be back in action against Toronto, while Washington closes its pre-FIBA World Cup schedule against Los Angeles.

Atlanta enters the matchup as one of the teams still battling near the top of the standings, while Portland is playing out the final games of its inaugural season after being eliminated Tuesday. Dallas secured the final playoff spot with its win over the Fire.

The Fever return home after their impressive victory over Chicago, a game that drew 3.31 million viewers, the most-watched regular-season game in WNBA history. Indiana has already secured a franchise-record 25 wins and sits fifth in the standings, while Connecticut has been eliminated.
