Steph Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history, holding the record for most 3-pointers ever made at over 4,200. And this fall, Curry fans can watch the Warriors star’s journey to the record on the big screen with a documentary coming to IMAX in October.

The film, which will focus on Curry becoming the NBA’s all-time leader in threes while also exploring the hard work and skillset that goes into his shooting, was directed by sports documentarian Gotham Chopra and produced by Religion of Sports. Curry changed the game of basketball with how he shoots, and now fans can really see what goes behind his greatness.

Curry was selected by the Warriors No. 7 overall in the 2009 NBA Draft, and despite injury issues early in his career, particularly with his ankles, he evolved into the face of the Warriors’ franchise. The focal point of all four of Golden State’s championship teams, Curry is a 12-time All-Star, 11-time All-NBA selection and a two-time NBA MVP Award recipient, among several other accolades. A member of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team, Curry’s legacy as a legend is cemented.

Curry is 38 years old and nearing the end of his career, but playing at a high level still, he hopes that he can lead the Warriors on a deep playoff run this season and surprise the rest of the NBA. The Warriors enter the 2026-27 season with an older roster, but as long as Curry keeps doing his thing, they should be just fine.
