Report: Kyle Korver to leave front office

Kyle Korver is a revered figured as part of the Atlanta Hawks franchise. During a 4.5 season career here, he was one of the most feared shooters in the league, helping the Hawks reach the Eastern Conference finals while being named an All-Star for the only time in his career in 2014-15.

After retiring from his playing career, he joined the Hawks front office as a director of player affairs and development in 2022. The next calendar year, he was promoted to the position of assistant general manager, a title he holds until this day.

But news broke on Monday that after four years in an executive role, Korver will be looking elsewhere in his career. This by word of Marc Stein of the Stein Line substack blog:

As Brad pointed out, the move means two top executives will have left this offseason, so the organization will have work to do in replacing their important contributions.
