Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 basketball signing class.
Four-star small forward Markus Kerr named Tennessee in his top five schools, along with Maryland, Xavier, Baylor and North Carolina State, according to Joe Tipton of On3.

The 6-foot-6, 180-pound prospect is from Charlotte, North Carolina and plays for Wellington Sports Academy in Wellington, Florida. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 21 small forward in the class and No. 15 player in Florida.
Tennessee offered Kerr a scholarship on May 25. He has not visited the Vols.
Hampton was the first school to offer him a scholarship on June 14, 2023. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Wake Forest, High Point, Mississippi State, VCU, Charlotte, Radford, College of Charleston, North Carolina A&T, Mount St. Mary’s, West Virginia, Appalachian State, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Georgetown, Oklahoma State, Boston College, Florida State and Arizona State.
Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2027 basketball recruiting class. Tennessee has four commitments in its 2026 basketball recruiting class: small forward Ralph Scott, power forward Manny Green, point guard Marquis Clark and power forward Chris Washington Jr.
