Wisconsin MBB schedules neutral-site rematch vs. Villanova in December

A new, neutral-site, non-conference men’s basketball game has been added to the Wisconsin Badgers 2026-27 schedule.

After previously scheduling a marquee matchup against Auburn, Wisconsin has now added a rematch with Villanova for Saturday, December 12.

Remember, the Wildcats got the best of the Badgers in overtime last season. When these two teams last met, it was also at a neutral site. Sure, it may not have been too far from home at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI, but neither is this one for Villanova.

Villanova usually plays its home games at the Finnernan Pavilion in Villanova, PA. For this showdown against Wisconsin, the game is set to be played at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

The Xfinity Mobile Arena is notably the home of the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia 76ers.

Coming off a 24-11 season, Wisconsin would love to avenge one of its 11 losses. Villanova got the job done last season, 76-66, in a game that required overtime.
