SBN Reacts: Mizzou Basketball Fans Looking Forward to In-State Matchup vs SLU

Mark your calendars for Friday, November 6th. That is when Missouri Basketball will play SLU in St. Louis at the Enterprise Center — where the two programs will meet for the first time since the 2001 season. It also marks the start of a three-game series.

Of course, there’s the Border War and Braggin’ Rights game on Mizzou’s schedule, but other neutral-site games have highlighted the Tigers’ non-conference schedule, and the fanbase is looking forward to SLU the most.

SLU will be an early-season litmus test for this new-look Missouri team as the Billikens are coming off a Round of 32 appearance last year, but Josh Schertz’s squad is losing big-man Robbie Avila. It should be quite the in-state matchup that college basketball fans in general are looking forward to.
