Tom Izzo, Michigan State Extend Offer to Elite 2027 4-Star Center Jaydn Jenkins

Tom Izzo isn’t going anywhere, and that means he’ll continue building Michigan State basketball through recruiting and landing some of the nation’s top high school talent.

The latest player to receive an offer from Izzo and the Spartans is four-star center Jaydn Jenkins.

The 6-foot-9, 205-pound standout from Warminster, Pennsylvania currently plays for Archbishop Wood and is quickly becoming one of the premier prospects in the 2027 recruiting class.

According to 247Sports, Jenkins carries a rating of 92, ranking him as the No. 46 overall prospect in the 2027 class. He’s also rated as the No. 6 center nationally and the top-ranked player coming out of Pennsylvania.

His composite ranking is even more impressive. Jenkins owns a 0.9846 composite rating, moving him up to the No. 39 overall recruit in the country. While that ranking places him one spot lower among centers at No. 7 nationally, he remains the consensus top prospect in the state of Pennsylvania regardless of which recruiting service you prefer.

Michigan State certainly isn’t the first program to recognize Jenkins’ potential. By extending an offer, the Spartans become the 20th school to enter the race for one of the nation’s most sought-after big men.

Izzo has built his Hall of Fame career by identifying elite talent, developing players over multiple seasons, and helping them reach both collegiate success and the NBA.
