Yaxel Lendeborg just won a national title with Michigan, but before that, he was a mid-major superstar at UAB.

Now, he’s heading to the NBA with the Golden State Warriors as the No. 11 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. And it’s worth looking back quickly.

He had one of the best games in college basketball history when playing at UAB.

During the AAC Tournament in March of 2025, Lendeborg blew everyone’s minds.

That night, he:

didn’t turn the ball over

shot 9-for-16 from the floor

made 11-for-13 from the foul line

Lendeborg then transferred to Michigan and proved he could play at the highest level of college basketball.
