Boiler Alert Podcast: Our Thoughts on Mike Bobinski

With the big news in Purdue world being about the announcement of Mike Bobisnki retiring Ryan and I had to talk about it on the podcast. We talked about the interesting process that will take place considering that Purdue will not have a permanent president in the immediate future. What should Purdue do? Hire a president and then let that president help with the AD hiring process? How much input should Mitch Daniels, a man who is closing in on 80, have in the process? It’s going to be an interesting few months if you’re a Purdue fan with big changes on the horizon for both the academic and athletic sides of things

Then, we continue our offseason look at the Purdue men’s basketball roster as Raleigh Burgess will be coming off of a redshirt and be heading back into the available lineup. It’s not every year you have a guy redshirt during his sophomore season but Burgess had a foot injury and though he was cleared during preseason workouts it still made sense to put him on the shelf for a year. What can we expect from him next season? Ryan and I get into that during this week’s episode of the Boiler Alert podcast.
