Kentucky fans react to the Milan Momcilovic commitment on social media

Monday night gave fans of the Kentucky Wildcats plenty to cheer about. Coach Mark Pope and his staff had to wait through a tense weekend, but in the end, got their guy. Former Iowa State forward Milan Momcilovic announced he was committing to the Cats.

Momcilovic was a top five entrant into the transfer portal this offseason, and was coveted by a number of programs, including the Louisville Cardinals. However, Pope got things done, and after missing on a number of elite recruits and portal players, a top target was headed to Lexington.

Last season, Momcilovic made 49% of his three point attempts, and averaged nearly 17 points per game. The 6’8″ forward is a perfect fit for Pope’s system, and should thrive in the Kentucky offense.
