The wait for Iowa State transfer forward Milan Momcilovic’s college decision continues, but Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones provided several noteworthy updates on social media regarding where things currently stand.
According to Jones, the last update he received was at 5 p.m., before Kentucky Baseball’s NCAA Tournament action: Neither Kentucky nor Louisville appeared to have a definitive answer regarding Momcilovic’s future.

“As of 5 pm (which is the last update I got before the baseball game), neither Kentucky nor Louisville knew for sure where Milan was going,” Jones posted. “I have no idea what Arizona does or does not know. I do get the sense that both schools think they are in it.”
Jones later reported that NIL negotiations may have reached their conclusion, with both Kentucky and Louisville having established their final offers.
Perhaps the most interesting update came when Jones discussed the financial aspect of the recruitment.
“I think both Kentucky and Louisville gave their ‘final offers’ to Milan yesterday,” Jones posted. “Louisville ended up raising theirs, but I still think it’s slightly behind Kentucky’s. The wildcard is Arizona. Nobody I have talked to has any idea where they are in it and if they are in the ballpark.”

Momcilovic is the top available player in the transfer portal after withdrawing from the NBA Draft. The 6-foot-8 forward is coming off a strong season at Iowa State and is widely regarded as one of the nation’s elite shooters.
Now, Kentucky, Louisville, Arizona, and their fan bases continue to wait to see where one of the most coveted players in the transfer portal era will play next season.
