The demand for NBA Finals tickets at Madison Square Garden is continuing to grow after the New York Knicks moved to within four wins of the franchise’s first NBA championship since 1973. There is still a week before Game 1 and as the team awaits its opponent from the Western Conference, fans will have plenty of time to find ways to get in the building.
Since the Knicks closed out their sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, fans have splurged for tickets for Games 3, 4 and 6 of the NBA Finals, which will all be at MSG.

For Game 3, the highest price paid for one ticket, via Gametime, was $12,022; for Game 4 someone shelled out $8,931 and the potential clinching Game 6 saw a ticket sold for $13,956.
On Tuesday, at least 10 people paid more than $8,500 per ticket for one of the three games in New York.

There is a vast different currently in the cheapest tickets and most expensive, according to Gametime.

The Knicks’ presence in the NBA Finals has also affected the ticket market in Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
The Western Conference finals winner will have home-court advantage in the NBA Finals and host Games 1, 2, 5 and 7. The price of tickets increased in both markets after the Knicks secured their place.
