College baseball 2026 NCAA tournament automatic bids tracker

On Monday, May 25, 64 college baseball teams will see their dreams of a national championship continue when the field is revealed for the 2026 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

For nearly half the teams that qualify, there won’t be much drama around the selection show. After all, they’ll have secured their fate days earlier.

This week, leagues around the country will host their conference tournaments, with the winners of those events earning automatic berths in the NCAA tournament.

Much of the attention this week will be squarely on the SEC Baseball Tournament in Hoover, Alabama, where eight of the top 17 teams in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll battle for some hardware before the most coveted trophy in the sport is at stake. Elsewhere, the ACC, home to three of the top eight teams in the Coaches Poll, will crown a champion in Charlotte, North Carolina, while No. 1 UCLA will look to follow up its Big Ten regular-season title with a conference tournament championship.
