Jalen Williams (hamstring), Dylan Harper (leg) ruled out during Thunder-Spurs Game 2

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams (hamstring) and San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper (leg) both left the Thunder’s 122-13 win Wednesday in Game 2 of the Western Conference and didn’t return.

Neither team provided an update on their respective status moving forward in postgame news conferences.

Williams left the court after playing seven minutes in the first quarter and did not return.

Cason Wallace replaced him in the lineup in the third quarter, and the Thunder ruled out Williams with hamstring tightness shortly after the quarter started.

The NBC broadcast showed Williams with a wrap around the same left hamstring that sidelined him earlier in the playoffs for six games.

Harper, meanwhile, grabbed his right leg after falling in the third quarter after a collision with Chet Holmgren.

He limped to the locker room, and the Spurs ruled him out before the start of the fourth quarter. The nature and extent of his injury are not clear.

Williams missed Oklahoma City’s entire second-round sweep against the Los Angeles Lakers with his previous hamstring injury, but returned for Game 1 Monday night against the Spurs, posting 26 points and 7 rebounds in 37 minutes.

An All-NBA player and a key to Oklahoma City’s run to last season’s NBA championship, Williams is critical to the Thunder’s chances to repeat.

Harper is playing in place of injured starter De’Aaron Fox (ankle) and thrived in San Antonio’s Game 1 win. Both players are key to their respective teams with the series tied 1-1.
