Now, the legend’s son is continuing his college basketball journey as a transfer to his third program.

The fittingly named Anquan Boldin Jr. committed this week to transfer to Stonehill College, a small Division I program:

Boldin Jr. played his first two college seasons at the University of Buffalo.

He averaged 7.0 points and 1.4 assists per game in his first season with the Bulls, then put up 7.8 points and 1.1 assists per game in his second season at UB.

Boldin Jr. transferred for the 2025-26 season to play at Florida A&M, but his numbers declined there.

With FAMU, Boldin Jr. put up 5.8 points and 0.9 assists per game.

Now, he’s moving on to Stonehill to try and propel his college hoops career forward.

Boldin Jr. is listed at 6-foot-4, and he obviously has impressive athletic genes.

One thing holding him back is the skill that can make or break a career: his outside shooting. In college, Boldin Jr. is just a 27% 3-point shooter. In this pace-and-space era, that’s not going to get it done.

For the unaware, Stonehill is located in Easton, Massachusetts. And it’ll now have the son of an NFL legend playing for its basketball team.
