The New York Knicks took a 2-0 lead over the Philadelphia 76ers in their second-round series with a 108-102 victory Wednesday night, but attention now turns to the health of one of their best players.
OG Anunoby, who had a strong game with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals, could not finish the contest due to an apparent injury.

Late in the fourth quarter, Anunoby attempted to cut to the basket when he pulled up and grabbed his right leg, near his hamstring. In the moments that followed, Anunoby remained on the floor and even attempted a dunk when the ball found him down low. But it became clear that he was hobbled by the injury and limped fairly significantly once he tried to jog to the other side of the court. He asked to be subbed out and left the game with 2:31 to play, replaced by backup point guard Miles McBride.
Anunoby did not return to the bench for the remainder of the game.
Knicks coach Mike Brown did not have updates for reporters postgame.

Anunoby has emerged as a multi-purpose threat for the Knicks in the playoffs and is integral to their title hopes.

He’s also a reliable perimeter shooter, so if he’s forced to miss some time, it would come as a significant blow to New York.
Knicks players react to OG Anunoby’s injury
After the game, multiple Knicks players expressed concern over Anunoby, though each indicated that they had not talked to him about the injury or its severity.

Jalen Brunson: “We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. I don’t know too much.”
