Celtics’ Brad Stevens named NBA Basketball Executive of the Year

Boston Celtics president Brad Stevens was named the 2025-2026 NBA Basketball Executive of the Year. Stevens has now won the award twice, after winning the award in 2023-2024.

He is the 12th executive to win the award multiple times since it was first presented in 1972-73.

Since transitioning to the front office before the 2021-2022 season, Stevens has made a seamless transition as the Celtics lead decision maker.

Stevens hired former head coach Ime Udoka, acquired Derrick White before the trade deadline and led the team to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010 in his first year as an executive.
