When is No. 1 recruit Tyran Stokes announcing his college decision?

The long recruitment of 2026’s top-ranked recruit is nearing an end.Tyran Stokes — the No. 1 overall recruit and the only top-10 player yet to make a college commitment — is finally set to announce his decision on Tuesday. And his choice will have almost a make-or-break impact on two blueblood programs … one way or the other.

According to a report from college hoops reporter Jeff Goodman, Stokes will announce his decision on ESPN’s NBA Tip-Off at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The 6-foot-7 wing from Louisville will decide between the Kansas Jayhawks and Kentucky Wildcats for his near-certain lone season of college basketball.

Kansas (an Adidas school) is thought to be the favorite despite Stokes being a Nike-endorsed athlete. But you never know with recruiting. Either way, we’ll find out Stokes’ choice shortly.
