Nebraska basketball lands commitment from guard Taj DeGourville

Nebraska basketball landed a commitment from San Diego State guard Taj DeGourville on Thursday afternoon.

DeGourville averaged 5.5 points and three assists in 33 games last season. The sophomore measures in at six-foot-five. He shot 37.1% from the field and 34.5% from behind the arc on the year.

He comes to the Huskers with a bit of pedigree. He appeared in 64 games and earned five starts. He had a successful 2024-25 season, earning two Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors.

This now marks five transfer portal additions for the program and also gives the Huskers additional guard depth on the roster. The program has undergone a ton of roster movement, as they look to put together another deep NCAA Tournament run in 2027.
