Nebraska lands commitment from Boston College transfer Boden Kapke

Nebraska basketball picked up a commitment from former Boston College forward/center Boden Kapke. He scored 10.6 points and recorded 5.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game in 31 games. He was also effective from the field, shooting 47.9%.

He joined the Eagles after playing two seasons at Butler. The newest Husker averages 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in 87 career games. Kapke officially measures in at six-foot-11, 255 pounds.

This marks Nebraska basketball’s fourth commitment of the transfer portal cycle. They were able to pick up commitments from forward Kadyn Betts, as well as guard Trevan Leonhardt.

This is another big pickup for the program, as it gives them a player who can score both inside and outside. It will be interesting to see how coach Fred Hoiberg can continue to develop him and how he fits into the offensive system.
