Vols ranked top five for transfers after Terrence Hill Jr. commitment

The NCAA transfer portal will remain open through Tuesday for basketball student-athletes. Five players have committed to Tennessee after the transfer portal opened April 7 following the national championship game.

Belmont guard Tyler Lundblade, California guard Dai Dai Ames, Loyola Chicago center Miles Rubin, Notre Dame guard Jalen Haralson and VCU guard Terrence Hill Jr. have committed to the Vols after the 2025-26 season.

Following Hill Jr.’s commitment on Sunday, Tennessee is ranked No. 4 nationally in 247Sports’ 2026 Transfer Basketball Team Rankings.

Louisville (1), Indiana (2) and Texas (3) are ranked ahead of Tennessee. The Longhorns (1) and Vols (2) are ranked as the top two SEC transfer portal basketball classes, followed by Missouri (3), Ole Miss (4) and South Carolina (5).
