A former four-star prospect out of high school, Florida State beat out the Kentucky Wildcats for his services.
Rancik became a key offensive force for the Buffaloes during his sophomore season, averaging 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.1 minutes per game, shooting 40.4% from the field and 33.1% from the three.
He’s the fifth player to join Florida State from the transfer or JUCO ranks alongside Shon Abaev (Cincinnati), Kameron Taylor (UNC Asheville), Anthony Robinson II (Missouri) and Amare Robinson (TSC).
