Maryland men’s basketball guard Darius Adams enters transfer portal

Maryland men’s basketball guard Darius Adams entered the transfer portal, CBS Sports first reported Wednesday.

Adams, a former four-star recruit according to 247Sports, averaged 10.8 points his freshman year to go along with 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The 6-foot-5 guard shot just 35.4% from the field and 24.8% from 3-point range on four attempts per game, but also highlighted impressive driving ability and body control over the course of the campaign. He scored a career-high 20 points against Alabama in November.
