KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas Jayhawks forward Bryson Tiller will be attending a new school next season, a choice that won’t likely be popular among Jayhawk fans.
On Thursday, Tiller announced his commitment to the University of Missouri. It marks the seventh player that won’t be returning for KU following a second-round NCAA Tournament exit at the hands of St. John’s.

Tiller started in 31 of 35 games for KU in 2025-26, averaging nearly eight points a game with six rebounds and an assist while shooting 44.9% from the field.
While the Jayhawks will be missing out on Tiller’s contributions, they’ve seemingly already found a replacement of sorts in former Utah Utes forward Keanu Dawes.
Dawes, who’ll be a senior in the upcoming year, put up 12.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists for the Utes last season while shooting 54.6% from the field. Dawes has the ability to stretch the floor a touch more than Tiller had shown in his one year at Kansas as well. He shot 31.7% from three last season compared to Tiller’s 26.9%.
