Georgia basketball has landed a transfer guard who started his college career in the SEC and led a Big Ten team in scoring last season.
Penn State’s Freddie Dilione has signed with the Bulldogs, according to CBSSports.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pounder from Fayetteville, N.C., led Penn State last season with 14.0 points per game and averaged 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He led the Nittany Lions with 42 3-pointers on 31.8% shooting.
Dilione played for Tennessee as a redshirt freshman in 2023-2024 as a reserve, averaging 1.7 points per game and after transferring to Penn State averaged 9.4 points in 2024-2024 while starting 28 games. He started 15 games this past season for a team that went 12-20.
Dilione scored a career best 25 points against No. 5 Purdue and Minnesota this past season.
Dilione joins a Georgia team that lost shooting guard Jeremiah Wilkinson to the transfer portal.

He’s the third addition to the roster for next season, joining center signee David Ugonna Ike from NBA Academy Africa and New Mexico Junior College guard Kemauri Millender, brother of Georgia guard Smuf Millender.
