With the wound of the Final Four loss to UConn still fresh, the Duke Blue Devils are unable to waste time sulking. The page must be turned to the 2026-27 college basketball season, and that includes finalizing the roster before the summer.

As reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Cayden Boozer will be returning to the Duke Blue Devils for the 2026-27 college basketball season, despite a sour ending to this past year when he committed the untimely turnover against the UConn Huskies that led to Braylon Mullins hitting a three-point shot to send Duke home from the NCAA Tournament.
The freshman guard appeared in all 38 of Duke’s games last year, while earning 11 starts. He averaged 7.7 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in 22.8 minutes per game. Cayden Boozer shot 50% from the field overall and 30.3% from the three-point line.
