Caleb Foster Comments on Teammate’s Transfer to Indiana Hoosiers

Caleb Foster and the Duke Blue Devils did not have the 2025-26 college basketball season they were hoping for, despite earning the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. Entering March Madness as one of the favorites to win it all, Duke fell just short of the Final Four after allowing a game-winning shot by the No. 2 seed UConn Huskies in the Elite Eight.

But ahead of the tournament, Foster suffered a fractured right foot in the March 7 matchup against the UNC Tar Heels. After missing the ACC Tournament, he made a surprising return in the Sweet 16, contributing 11 points and two assists off the bench. Now, Foster is likely to see significant changes to Duke’s roster heading into his senior year, with one of his teammates already departing for a new school.

Harris received a slight role increase during his sophomore campaign in 2025-26, raising his averages to 3.3 points and 0.4 assists in 9.7 minutes per game while appearing in 36 games. Following his second season with the Blue Devils, Harris entered the NCAA transfer portal, likely seeking an increase in minutes.
