The Miami RedHawks added to their frontcourt on Tuesday, April 14, when they picked up 6-foot-9 forward Preston Copeland from Mid-American Conference rival Ball State.
Sam Kayser of League Ready posted the announcement for Copeland, who started 24 of the 30 games he appeared in for the Cardinals.
Copeland, from Clayton, North Carolina, averaged 4.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, shooting 62.5% from the field for Ball State in his lone year in Muncie, Indiana.
Forward Preston Copeland (34) played in 30 games as a freshman at Ball State. Copeland has transferred to the Miami RedHawks.
