Commitment addresses position of need for Butler basketball out of transfer portal

First-year coach Ronald Nored has his eighth member of the 2026-27 Butler basketball team committed, and the third out of the transfer portal.

Treyson Anderson, a 6-foot-8 forward who played previously at North Dakota State, signed to play for the Bulldogs, a source familiar with discussions told IndyStar. Anderson will have two years of eligibility after playing 49 games (19 starts) across two seasons with the Bison.

Anderson is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, where he played at Pius X. He was an all-state selection as a senior after averaging 19 points and 12 rebounds per game.
