Nebraska men’s basketball forward Braden Frager is officially returning to the program. This was announced by the program on social media Thursday evening.
Frager was a major piece of the team this season. He emerged as a key contributor off the bench. He scored 11.8 points per game to go along with 3.8 rebounds per game. He shot 40.7% from the field and 80.5% from the line. The freshman was also very durable, playing in 33 total games. He started two of those contests as well.

Frager was able to pick up Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year and Big Ten All-Freshman Team accolades. His stellar season was highlighted by some big moments as well. He hit the game-winning shot with 2.2 seconds left to defeat Vanderbilt in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
This is certainly a major development for the program, and it gives them a solid piece to build around for next season. The program still has work to do in the transfer portal, but this is a very solid development.
