Big Sky Freshman of the Year transfer commits to Tennessee basketball

Tennessee received its second 2026 transfer basketball commitment. Northern Arizona transfer guard Naomi White committed to the Lady Vols on Thursday.

The 5-foot-9 guard appeared in 29 games, including 29 starts, during the 2025-26 season for Northern Arizona. She averaged 20.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

White converted 201-of-516 field goal attempts, 87-of-231 three-point attempts and 103-of-134 free throw attempts in her only season with the Lumberjacks.

She transferred to Northern Arizona after earning a redshirt at Grand Canyon.

White was named the 2025-26 Big Sky Freshman of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors. She is the eighth player in Northern Arizona basketball program history to earn freshman of the year honors and the first since Alyssa Rader in 2016.

White joins Liberty guard Avery Mills as Tennessee transfer commitments following the 2025-26 season. The NCAA transfer portal opened Monday after the national championship game.
